Initial phone discussion and Candidate Qualification Summary (CQS)

Our first step is to get to know each other a bit and provide you with information about the Young Chefs Academy franchise opportunity. After this initial call you will be asked to complete our CQS to determine whether you meet our initial qualifications for a franchise. Rest assured that any information you provide to us will be held in strict confidence.

“Day in the Life” discussion

If you meet our initial qualifications, we will schedule a more comprehensive phone discussion to provide you with more information about the day-to-day operations of a Young Chefs Academy franchise. This call will cover our training and support programs and help you better understand the functions of our business, what it takes to be successful and our ongoing programs to help and support our franchisees.

Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and review

We will send you a copy of our FDD, which provides a full disclosure of all pertinent information about our franchise as required by the Federal Trade Commission. After you have read the FDD, we will schedule a time to go over any questions you may have about the document.

Connect with Current Young Chefs Academy Franchise Owners

After reviewing the FDD, if you wish to move ahead we will set up calls (or meetings, if you are in their area) with our current franchise owners. These informational sessions provide you the opportunity to speak to our franchisees to ask them anything you like about owning and operating the business. They are eager to share advice and lessons, so this is a great way to get some “on the ground” perspective.

Discovery Day

If everything is going well at this point, you’ll be asked to attend a Discovery Day to meet our management team at our corporate office in Waco, Texas. This immersive experience will give you the chance to learn more about our systems, technology, marketing and other business processes, and we’ll be answering any follow-up questions you may still have. If you are approved for a franchise following Discovery Day and wish to become a franchisee, your franchise agreements will then be signed, and you will begin the onboarding process as a new Young Chefs Academy franchise owner!
