Always a trendsetter in the culinary and franchising world, Young Chefs Academy partnered with Food Network Magazine this August and September to bring “Back to School” open house events to Young Chefs Academy kitchens across the country.
Afternoon, evening and weekend events included fun and healthy back-to-school snacks, interactive cooking activities, chef demonstrations and sponsor samples by and for kids of all ages. Sponsors included reputable names such as Horizon Organic Milk, Sara Lee and the California Grape Board.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Young Chefs Academy and Food Network Magazine have partnered for this exciting series of events. Young Chefs Academy locations nationwide received substantial media attention for the events, helping to promote them to a broad audience. Check out some of the coverage here.
“This year’s ‘Back to School’ open house events with Food Network Magazine were our largest to date,” said Julie Burleson, the founder and CEO of Young Chefs Academy. “We had more demonstrations, games and giveaways than ever before. We enjoyed visiting several of our locations around the country and seeing the smiles on the faces of the parents and children having fun. Hearing the stories from our franchisees was the highlight of the entire season for me. We just love welcoming kids into our creative and delicious environment.”
